Kids .. but Men

I am Palestinian, despite my young age
However, my heart carries the concern of my great country

I was born and found destruction everywhere
The sound of treachery bullets deafens any ears
****
At night, I cannot sleep because of the intense screams
And during the day I find around me the blood of the dead
*****
And to see my country free and independent one day
I had to face a deranged enemy
*****
I will be patient, trusting in God’s true promise to us
Victory is near, even if it takes us a long time.
